Accessing Documents for the Seventh Session of the Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD)
The following official documents for the Seventh Session of the CSD are now available via electronic mail from a demonstration implementation of the Mailbase Online Micro-Library System. Each of the documents - in English, Spanish, French and Russian - can be obtained by sending an email message to <> with the message beneath the description of the document, e.g. for E/CN.17/1999/2 in Spanish, the message would be: get mime dpu-pip ecn17-99-02s.wpd
You can request multiple files in a single message by putting each request on a single line. The documents are in WordPerfect 6 format and will be sent as MIME attachments. The size of the file, in kilobytes, is indicated for each document. The Mailbase Online Micro-Library System is one of the principal elements of ngos@un - a partnership to assist the Secretary-General of the United Nations in responding to a request from the Economic and Social Council (in its Decision 1996/31, paragraph 69) to make use of information technology to facilitate practical arrangements for the participation of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the work of the United Nations.
