Great link, Tom. Might we plan for some re-celebration of our nuclear-free zone status on Aug 5? Arcata has chosen to avoid purchasing products or services from such nuclear-weapons-profiting companies as Boeing, General Electric, IBM, and AT&T. I sure think county govt could get by fine without their products. A whole "Commission" like Arcata has might be too much for our small county, but a day of annual acknowledgement & renewal of our purpose could sure be a go. tim w
